It was 3 years ago that the Infiniti LE was shown as a concept at the New York Auto Show, and was due in showrooms last year, until Infiniti delayed it.

For the moment, Infiniti needs to concentrate on high-volume segments, like the performance coupe arena where Q60 would fit.
If Nissan could double the LEAF's range, it would open up the electric vehicle segment enough to allow for the LE to go to production.
That could be interpreted to mean that Infiniti is waiting for LEAF 2.0 when they will be able to compete with the Tesla Model 3 and Chevy Bolt.
