According to a recent article on InsideEVs, via Reuters, the Infiniti LE is planned for 2018, as a Tesla rival. Nissan is planning to give it a battery pack as large as 60 kWh which is more than twice the 28 kWh available in the current LEAF!

In an announcement from Nissan for it's Power 88 program, Nissan said the LE would go one sale soon enough to be counted as part of the program, which means on or before March 31, 2017....

Automotive News seems to lean towards 2018 for a release of a 300 mile electric vehicle likely called the Infiniti LE
